Had Council Camp from the 22nf of November to the 24th of November. It was a whole camp of lame jokes, talking nonsense and laughing like loonies. It's too long to type out everything, it'll take hours. I'll just type out the highlights and my thoughts on those.

1)The Night Walk, 9.00 pm, 22nd November
We were brought to classrooms and were told to hide there until someone with the same colour stick comes to get us . Basically, we all learnt that many fears are imagined, as the EXCO really didn't do anything to scare us. Yep. Some had to hide in the toilets alone. Thank god it wasn't me (:

2) The visit to Institute of Mental Health, 10 am - 2pm, 23rd November
This visit was definitely more interesting than the visit to Kwong Wai Shui in March. This trip really changed my perception of, to put it crudely, 'crazy' people. What surprised me is that when we talk among ourselves, they actually listen and will answer. I won't ever forget how Melvin ( he's our Service Learning trainer ) was teasing dear Marilyn, something about making a heart. Then this man suddenly grinned and went ' Sweetheart!' . We were so gobsmacked. Yeah, and the people there , a lot of them really had very sad stories to share. It was pretty painful to let them recount, and i feel so lucky for everything that i have.On a more nonsensical note, we were saying to each other ' YOU belong here!' . I got that comment a lot of times. Infer.

3) Amazing Race, 10 am - 2.45 pm, 24th November
Nic Teo ( my group) came in first! Yeah, because our route was very well chosen. WE first went to VivoCity, then Ikea, then Arab Street, after that the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library, finally at Velocity at Novena. Went to Burger King to tapau lunch back to school after that. It was super fun! Ya lah, i know my vocabulary is so limited.

Just to share a damn funny incident, here's one. There are a lot more lah, but for one story some of the content is a bit explicit. So i'll scratch that (:

Samira's group is in Ikea. The IC for Ikea is actually Sarah Tan, but they somehow called Ruth to ask her where she was . And Ruth was at the ROOFTOP at Vivocity! So, they went to the IKEA ROOFTOP!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Apparently they got scolded by the security guard. HAHAHAHA.

Yeah, and as for the rest of the incidents, i'll just let the pictures at the end of this post do the talking.

Now , i shall post about today. Met Clarissa, SiYinn, Gracia and Sherlyn in school . We drew up the final plans for games and then proceeded out to buy materials. Actually half the time, we were digressing and the rest kept talking about last night. Eck-hem. We went out to the Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre to lunch at LJS, then went to IKEA. Went to look for the bottles, and as usual, we the childhood- deprived people went to play with the soft toys (: Had a nice ice-cream . Mmmm. Took 195 to Queestown MRT to get to PS. BUT, we were so obssessed with 'eck-hem' SiYinn's gossip that we missed our stop and had to walk a damn long way. Reached PS, and found went to Spotlight but couldn't find anything. Then went to ...somewhere....( i can't say just in care any sec 4 councillors 2006 are reading this ) , went to grab a bite at the basement, headed home!
