Three days of working at Conrad Hotel has passed. And i must say , the four of us ( Me, Nicole, Anselina,Sabrina ) learnt a different thing everyday. Both good and bad.
Walao, the starting sounds like an essay i wrote in sec 1. I thought it was good but i nearly failed. Haha. Ok anyway, today is Deepavali and so i've got the energy to blog. Otherwise i only reach home around 9 pm plus, the earliest being maybe 8.45 pm.
Monday, 5th November
The first day was not exactly very enjoyable. Nicole and i were ushered out to the 4th level to help this guy named Berry to set the tables for a Western-Style buffet. He's pretty funny. Haha. Didn't have lunch, so Berry brought me and Nicole down to the ballroom to get Anselina and Sabrina to go to the canteen with us . But somehow , we ended up helping also. I don't really know why. Haha. After that, the four of us were dragged to Salon 5 ( It's a meeting room. They call it salons. ) We had to pack chocolates there. You know those chocolates that they give out at banquets? Yep , we had to pack them. Then ,had dinner around 5 plus, went up again to the ballroom to help the other waiters and waitresses set the tables for some wedding banquet. Went home (:

Tuesday, 6th November
The second day was pretty okay i guess. We went to the ballroom , at Dallan's orders ( he's the Banquet Manager ) to set the tables for a meeting that's gonna take place at night. We helped and helped, until somehow Anselina and Sabrina went away. After about two hours, me and Nicole went to Salon 5 to find them. Ta-da! They were there. Haha. They were folding napkins. So we helped them fold somemore lor. Yep. Then , went over to the ballroom to put the cutlery into the napkins. The napkins we folded are actually cutlery napkins, by the way. Then, we found out we didn't have enough . Rushed back to Salon 5 to fold somemore napkins. Then, we were done. Went down for dinner at 4 plus. I think this is when ba chor mee came into the picture ( right, people? Haha) So anyway, we went down to the Ballroom again , to help pour iced water into wine glasses. After we did that , we escaped from the Ballroom and slacked outside until one of the supervisors found us and made me and Nicole fold somemore napkins, and Anselina and Sabrina to wipe cutlery and wine glasses. Went home (:

Wednesday, 7th November
This day was an extremely fun day. Haha. In the morning, we had to fold more napkins. Napkins have officially become our best friend. Yeah, then we were so bored , we decided to go down the canteen. Oops. Went there, and met the General Manager for Conrad. He's like the big boss of the hotel , and he's SOOOOO nice. His name is Mr Grafe and he's a German. He sat down with us and talked to us. Yep . And he actually told one of the staff to give us a tour of the hotel , AND reminded us to go for some Awards Presentation Ceremony for all the Conrad Staff. So after this, we had a tour of the hotel . Visited the one of the executive hotel suites. And we were flabbergasted. LCD TV!! Plus an excellent view all over the City Hall area. Nice hard, squishy mattress. I felt so suaku. Actually i am lah. Haha. Had a tour of the offices. Mr Grafe was there again! And he told us to visit him tmr. Of course! Haha. His personal assistant and her assistant is also very nice. Slipped and fell in the kitchen %$&*^&!@. My fall attracted plenty of attention though. Everybody was pretty shocked. After that we went down to the Awards Presentation. AND...Mr Grafe was there AGAIN. HAHA. Yep. We were ushered in and the staff kept on telling us to eat, but we didn't want to lah, so paiseh. Ba chor mee was sulking because we were served but he had to serve.Haha. Then Mr Grafe went up to the stage to give a speech, and i was just standing there, slacking, when i felt Nicole pulling repeatedly at my shirt . I was about the tell her off when i heard Mr Grafe saying ' .....four young girls from CHIJ...' , so i was like SHIT, and started freaking out. Ya lah, but he didn't make us go up on stage thank goodness. After that the four of us were so embarrassed, we went down to the canteen again. Slacked around there for a while , then went down to the ballroom to help with the night's wedding anniversary banquet. Went home (:

Yep , so tmr is our last day. Hope i'll leave with nice nice nice memories(: BYE!
