I seriously think that Singapore is getting more and more crowded everyday.

Today, i was at Citilink Mall with my mother, then we went to Marina Square to Han's for tea and attempted to walk back to City Hall MRT station. But would you believe it, the escalators were all clogged up and they even had to station a security guard there.

It was a MASSIVE jam. So after finally clearing those hellish escalators, i was greeted with an even more terrifying sight. The walkway to City Hall MRT station had been blocked off. Literally, blocked. The shutters were pulled down.I thought maybe there had been a bomb threat or something. Needless to say i started freaking out, and it sure didn't help when the 2 men in front of me went ' Wah, this place is the perfect terrorist target lah'. There were so many people that countless annoucements had to be made to tell them to leave the station if they're not taking the train. It took 10 minutes longer to clear Citilink Mall than normal. Gosh, we can't have any more people in here.

By the way, i'm rather surprised that everyone has been so quiet after the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olypmics. I rather thought that on Monday, there'll be reports about the fireworks being fake, the singers this and that, the performers this and that, etc. Strange, we haven't heard much have we?
