YAY! I'VE BEEN PROMOTED! (: Now i have one last thing to worry about; Chinese A Levels next Monday ): Aww damn, the worries in my life never seem to end. When one is over, another one comes along. Basket, this is the life of a person who is deemed to slog her entire life away -.- Good things never seem to go down well with me you know. Today, so-called lessons resumed again. Met Jill in the morning, and that silly girl had to come and tease me about you-know-who. Luckily i didn't fall for it, haha. Sorry hor, i'm not so easily taken in. First lesson was Literature with Mdm Cho, and we were brought to the Dance Room to make a start on Taming of the Shrew. Had a really fun portion when we split into groups to act out a particular scene. My group got 'When the teacher is not around'. We re-enacted a common scene during 09A3 lessons, and the rest had to guess what we're acting out. Lol, Jamie was so cute with her lines. After this was GP, and it was spent first doing a survey, and then we split into groups to do a general knowledge trivia. It was pretty hiliarious. Qn: Who is the traditional shoemaker in Irish mythology?Me: *trying to be lame* Santa Claus!Shawn: No, no, it's my mum. (Ans: Leprechauns)Ms Mariya overheard us and she was pretty pissed off haha. In the end, we got 11/35, which was pretty good compared to the other group, with a grand score of 4/35. Looks like we really are a bunch of ignorant beings. This is funnier.Qn: Who founded the United States of America? Me: George Washington right? (This is actually the correct answer!)The rest: NO! It's Robinson Crusoe! Me: Oh okay, i trust your judgement. And i immediately regretted not pursuing my point. But i was silly also lah, all of us failed to realise that Robinson Crusoe is a damn FICTIONAL character. Aiya. After GP was break, by which we went to eat, and then Cheryl and I went to find Mdm Ong regarding our Chinese consultations. Got a missed call from Yue Xiang, and i called her back. Turns out that she's meeting up with Jeannie after school, but sorry lah, i couldn't go because of Ada's birthday celebration. After break was Geography. Mr Toh showed us the 'Top 10 Ways to Annoy Your Examiner'. It was just bitchy to the max, right from the first slide. The first slide said something like 'Review of Exam Techniques (How did you even manage to get through your O Levels?). Not only that, the entire presentation was laced with sarcasm, but it was pretty funny. Oh, Shawn, great answer though. Hee. Afterwards we had a lot of fun testing Mr Toh with our GP trivia. He wasn't that bad lah, smarter than us, certainly. Math was as usual, us slacking away while we were supposed to be paying attention. But i was at least better than those people who were painting their nails and TAKING PICTURES in class, lol. After school, we went to West Mall to celebrate Ada's 17th birthday (: HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY ADA! (: Went for lunch at Pastamania but there were so many of us we had to resort to sitting outside. Eventually it started raining and we had to shift indoors to cut the cake. I rushed home immediately after bading the rest goodbye, while they went for a movie. Sorry guys, see, i'm destined to have a hard life. Took 985 because it came first, and got a very happy reward (: Reached home and had dinner, and now i'm sitting here. I should seriously get off my butt and start exercising again, i have excess fats that i want to shed, hahaha.
