Today. Had lessons for the whole morning as usual. However , today's was much more bearable as it's the last day. Ah well. I've still got job attachment and CCA training. Can forget about going out until after 15th November. Even then, we'll still have plenty of activities and/or lessons.
Speaking of job attachment, i went down to Conrad Hotel after school . I was late. -.-'. Hey i wasn't usually late okay, i got lost. I haven't got the faintest idea where in the world Conrad was, so , on a whim, i walked over to Milennia Walk from Suntec City. Then i called Anselina and Sabrina , so yup, Milennia was correct. I still couldn't see Conrad, and was about to whip out my phone again and get someone to rescue me . Then i looked up and realized that i was just standing opposite it. Haha. Right under my nose and i couldn't see it . Argh.
Then came the next problem. Where is the HR Department? I circled the entire hotel about four times , trying to get my nerve up , until i finally decided to put down my pride and went to ask for directions. Went in , asked this friendly middle-aged doorman where was the Career Centre ( Sabrina told me it was the Career Centre ) So , he brought me to this lift. But what the hell, i went to basement one and it was a carpark . I freaked out big time and then got to ground level again. Went to ask the carpark attendant where was the Career Centre and he said it was in the carpark . No wonder. Then, the typical me decided to try and go in through the cars' entrance. ( Man, that was STUPID,STUPID ,STUPID ) I nearly got ran down.
I was about to break down in tears. But i was determined NOT to cry. So , finally i asked this hotel worker where was the Career Centre. Ah- hah,finally i found it! Had to ' surrender ' my IC when i went in, in the security guard's words. He's a nice and funny man. Then , i saw Nicole, Anselina and Sabrina sitting inside the Career Centre Office. So embarrassing. But anyway, Miss Ayu ( i think ) was really nice about it (:
Listened to half the briefing. Got good news and bad news. The good news is that we don't need to work on Deepavali. Hee. Bad news? Light make-up needed. The uniform's pretty cool (; I like it . Yay. But anyway, Miss Ayu was really nice to us and all. That Anselina sprained her ankle ( of all weeks, this week ) , so she might not be able to come work . Yep.
Ended around 3.25. Went home. That's all for today. I can't wait for Monday ! (:
