I woke up with a stiff neck today. It hurts like crap. After breakfast and all that, my mother and I headed down to the Guan Im Temple, but it was raining, so we had no choice but to go to Parco Bugis Junction to shop. I needed a new bag anyway (: It turned out that finding a suitable bag wasn't as easy as i imagined it. My mother tried making suggestions, but i kept on refusing until she got really annoyed with me. Haha. Then we were tired, so we went to Burger King opposite Bugis Junction to have a snack.Returned to Bugis after about 45 mins, and headed down to the departmental store. I finally something i like. It was big, functional , and the design wasn't too obiang. Hee. The price tag was *gasps* $65 . But i bought it anyway, and i'm really happy! Went to Marina Square Macdonld's after that , and had a Hot Fudge Sundae and stoned around. Went upstairs to Times Bookstore to browse. Headed down to Food Republic at Suntec City for dinner. The prices are pretty steep, like $4 just for a plate of Char Siew Rice. But it's really nice! Yeah, so i guess it was pretty worth it .My mother had this thing called the Thunder Tea Rice Set. It's so....bland. There's no meat, just tau kwa, beans, and vegetables. And the tea tastes really gross. Eeekk. Oh, and if you do go there, try the yu tiao ! It's damn nice! Nicer than any i've ever tasted in fact. The crust is crispy and the dough is really springy . So it has that crispy outside, soft and chewy inside, which is really good! Went home after that (:
